Before the formulation, there was a question.
What can nature teach us?
That question continues to guide us today.
Nature has always been a source of knowledge.
Plants, roots, leaves and natural compounds have been observed and explored for centuries. Yet understanding them is a journey rather than a destination.
The more we look, the more questions appear.
What gives an ingredient its particular characteristics? How does it behave? How can it be combined with other ingredients? How can its potential be translated into a carefully designed formulation?
These questions are where science begins.
Our approach brings together curiosity about the natural world and the discipline required to study it. We seek to understand before we develop, and to refine before we manufacture.
